Clive Chenery, Joanne Benjamin and Robert McWhir are delighted that Christmas In Our Hearts, an original song from their forthcoming new Christmas musical revue, ‘Oy Vey in A Manger’, will be premiered in the star studded concert, “We Need A Little Christmas”, streamed from St Paul’s Church, Covent Garden from Sunday 20th December 2020 to January 1st 2021, in aid of Shelter and Crisis at Christmas. Christmas In Our Hearts is performed by the wonderful Michael Vinsen with George Carter at the piano and the Concert is hosted by Denise Welch and Amy Hart. Oy Vey In A Manger is a sparkling Christmas entertainment celebrating the truth that most of the best loved Christmas songs were written by Jewish composers and will feature many of these festive favourites, along with additional especially commissioned new songs. Book and lyrics are by Estee Stimler with music by Yuval Havkin, from a concept by Clive Chenery and Joanne Benjamin. Oy Vey In A Manger is currently in development for a full production during the festive season in 2021. It is produced by The Entertainment Business and Dramatic Licence and will be directed by Robert McWhir. Look forward to an update next year!
